Lean To / Straight
A straight lean to glasshouse or orangery is governed by the height of the high wall. In general, for a width of 2.4m (8’) the wall will need to be at least 3.2m (10’6”) high. If wall height is an issue, then an offset ridge can be a good solution. Lean to glasshouses and orangeries usually have full length ventilation to the ridge and side.
